Altar Society
Ladies' Book Club
The Altar Society is a group of dedicated parish volunteers who care for the altar and the sacred spaces of the church. In addition to caring for the church, members often organize community service projects and outreach, supporting parish activities and helping those in need. Our Faith Formation Department guides young people in growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ and understanding the teachings of the Catholic Church. Through engaging classes, service opportunities, prayer, and community activities, it helps youth learn the Gospel, prepare for the sacraments, and develop a strong Catholic identity.

The ministers of the Holy Catholic Mass are those who serve the Church community by assisting in the celebration of the Eucharist. Liturgical ministers include altar servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, musicians, and sacristans.
The Ladies' Book Club is a group of women who gather regularly to read and discuss books that deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and spiritual life. Through thoughtful conversation, prayer, and shared reflection, members support one another in growing closer to Christ and living out their faith in daily life. The group also fosters friendship and community among women of the four parishes.
Church Bingo Teams
The Church Bingo Team Ministry is a group of parish volunteers who organize and run bingo events to support the parish and its programs. Through their efforts, the ministry helps raise funds for church needs while building fellowship among parishioners and guests.
St. Aloysius Crafters
A dedicated group comes together to create handmade blankets and teddy bears that are donated to local hospitals. These comforting gifts help bring warmth and reassurance to patients while providing comfort and a sense of security to children during their hospital stay.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
All are welcome to join us as we create beautiful prayer shawls that will be blessed and fee to anyone who would like one for themselves or someone they know who is struggling physically or emotionally. We meet every Thursday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm in St Joseph Church Hall. New members are always welcome.
Elizabeth Ministry
The Elizabeth Ministry helps out young parents in the parish with diapers and various items as these families navigate parenthood!
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus empowers Catholic men to live their faith and serve their family, parish, community and country. Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the premier lay Catholic men’s organization. Guided by the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we build lifelong relationships with our members and families. We are multigenerational and international. We offer formation, mutual aid and financial security to members through our charity, products and outreach. We aspire to invite every Catholic man to join the Knights of Columbus and to extend our charitable reach as widely as possible. This group meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at St Mary Church in Arcade.
OCIA: Faith Journey on the Way to Becoming Catholic
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, or OCIA, is a process developed by the Catholic Church for its catechumenate for prospective converts to the Catholic faith above the age of infant baptism. Knights of St. John
The Knights of St. John ministry is a Catholic fraternal organization of men dedicated to faith, service, and charity. Through prayer, fellowship, and service, the Knights work to grow in their faith while helping those in need within the parish and the wider community.
Exodus 90
Exodus 90 is a strenuous 90-day spiritual exercise for men. Designed to shift your spiritual life into 5th gear, the program embraces three fundamental components of the Christian life: Prayer, Asceticism, and Fraternity. They meet every Saturday, 6:45 am at St Joseph Church Rectory.
Martha Committee
The Martha committee provides a light luncheon for registered Catholics and their bereaved families following the catholic funeral service at St Aloysius church.
What started as a small effort to assist the families from West Valley Central School blossomed into the ministry of The Clothes Closet. Through donations from the parishes, we are able to provide clothing, houseware items, bed linens, books, puzzles, toys and, small appliances and furniture to those who are in need.
Men of the Challenge
Join the Men of the Challenge! Come join us in our quest to become the men God created us to be! We meet on the 2nd Saturday each month. Come as often as your schedule allows. Come even if you’re not Catholic or don’t attend any church. Come with a lonely heart & meet a band of brothers!
